
Tyler Wilson Headed to Myrtle Beach

Rome, GA - The Rome Braves announce that right handed pitcher Tyler Wilson has been sent to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans of the Carolina League. Wilson was 6-4 with a 3.40 ERA in 37 relief appearances.
Jang Ji Cho joins the team from the Danville Braves of the Appalachian League. The right-hander was signed by the Atlanta Braves as a Free Agent in 2005 and spent the entire 2006 season on the disabled list with an injury. Cho posted a perfect 3-0 record (0.87 ERA) in route to earning the D-Braves Pitcher of the Month for July in 2005. He also struck out 27 batters in 20.2 innings during that span.
Rome concludes returns to action at State Mutual Stadium for the final regular season home stand beginning tomorrow at 7pm. Home Stand highlights include:
Friday - Superhero night with special guest appearance by Spider-Man 7pm
Saturday - Post Game fireworks 7pm
Sunday - Hardball Bingo and Autograph Session 2pm
