TICKETS ON SALE: The Cyclones ARE Brooklyn, and they're back for their seventh season this summer. Tickets go on sale at 9 AM on Sunday, April 29th at the KeySpan Park box office for Opening Day on June 19th, and other single game tickets for the 2007 season. Fans will also have an opportunity to meet Brooklyn Dodgers legend Johnny Podres for free autographs from 9-11 AM. In addition, the first 200 people to purchase tickets in person will get to take batting practice on the field, and will also receive a voucher for a free Nathan's hot dog, fries and soda.

There will be giveaways, music, clowns, face painters and more, so come one, come all, but definitely come early! Tickets will also be available beginning at 9 AM that Sunday by phone at 718-507-TIXX (8499), on the web at www.brooklyncyclones.com and at the Shea Stadium box office.

CYCLONES GOLF OUTING: Please join us for the 1st Annual BrooklynBaseball Charity Golf Outing at Dyker Beach Golf Course on Monday, July 23rd, 2007. The day begins with brunch, followed by a 1pm shotgun start and concludes with dinner, and a special guest appearance from former Brooklyn Dodger, Don Newcombe. There will be a silent auction during dinner as well as exciting raffle items. All participants will also receive a special gift package.

Since the team's inception, the Brooklyn Cyclones have been involved with numerous outreach programs to help better the Brooklyn Community. All proceeds from this event will go to the NYPL Charitable Foundation and the Knights of Columbus - Archbishop John Hughes Council #481 - and will help support a number of needy recipients throughout Brooklyn.

TAKE YOUR BASE 2007: The American Cancer Society and Brooklyn Cyclones present the 3rd Annual Take Your Base, a community and family event designed to raise awareness about, and highlight the importance of, screening and early detection of cancer.

Join the American Cancer Society and the 2007 Cyclones this June 30, 2007 at the famous Riegelman Boardwalk in Coney Island in the fight against cancer. Make it a family affair!

Even if you can't walk, come enjoy a day of health awareness by visiting our public health fair. Enjoy free screenings, health information and wellness activities.

PITCH, HIT & RUN: MLB's Pitch, Hit & Run provides boys and girls, ages 7 to 14,the opportunity to showcase pitching, hitting and running abilities. Winners can advance through four levels of competition, all the way to the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game.

This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to compete, FREE of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball skills

The Local Competition will be held at KeySpan Park on April 29, 2007. Competitors are divided into four age divisions -- 7/8, 9/10, 11/12 and 13/14 -- and have the chance to advance through four levels of competition, including Team Championships at Major League ballparks, and the National Finals at the 2007 MLB All-Star Game in San Francisco, CA.
