Mud Hens win Governors' Cup for second straight year

Toledo Mud Hens News Release


The Toledo Mud Hens have won the International League Governors' Cup for the second straight season. With the win on Saturday night at Fifth Third Field, Toledo has secured their third league title (1967, 2005).

Toledo will now travel to Oklahoma City, OK to challenge the Tucson Sidewinders of the Pacific Coast League in the inaugural Bricktown Showdown on Tuesday, September 19. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

The Hens will now host a rally for the fans of Toledo and the champions of the International League to be held on Wednesday, September 20th at Fifth Third Field.
