Diamond Jaxx make roster moves

Jackson, TN (June 19th)- The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx have promoted RHP Randy Wells and C Jose Reyes to Triple-A Iowa. RHP Federico Baez has been sent back from Triple-A Iowa and C Jake Fox has been promoted from High-A Daytona.

Wells made twelve starts with the Diamond Jaxx, going 4-2 with a Southern League leading 1.59 ERA. Reyes appeared in forty-seven games, hitting .229 with no homers and eleven runs batted in.

Baez made nine appearances, including two starts, with Iowa. Baez was 0-3 with a 5.06 ERA. This will be his second stint with the Diamond Jaxx. Baez appeared in eight games earlier this season, compiling a 1-0 record with a 3.94 ERA.

Fox appeared in sixty-six games with Daytona. Fox, who appeared in the Florida State League All-Star Game, hit .313 with sixteen homers and sixty-one runs batted in.

The roster is twenty-three.
