
Parrish joins Greyhounds

The Ohio Valley Greyhounds are pleased to announce the signing of defensive end Justin Parrish (6-2,245) of Kent State University. Parrish was a first team all Mid-American Conference honoree this past season with the Flashes recording 8.5 sacks, and 20 tackles for loss. Parrish led the team in tackles in 2005 with 96 while starting all 11 games at the buck linebacker spot.
In 2004, Parrish recorded one of the best seasons in school history registering 14.5 quarterback sacks 56 tackles and 17 tackles for loss. The stellar season earned Parrish second-team all Mid-American Conference honors. Parrish was a starter as a true freshman with the Flashes and is a native of Landover, MD.
Parrish will join the team when they travel to Bloomington, Illinois on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 8:05 eastern time.
