STOCKTON, Calif--Following the recent promotions of four current Stockton Ports Front Office staff members, the Ports took another step forward on Monday towards the final assembly of their 2006 staff.

The Ports are pleased to announce the hiring of three new members to their Front Office, including Tony Cohn as Box Office Manager and both Jennifer Mayer and Derek Reyes as Group Sales Account Executives.

Cohn, an Account Executive with the club in 2005, is beginning his second year in professional baseball. He will organize and oversee the operation of the Ports Box Office and assist Director of Tickets Nikki Pruett in all day-to-day ticket operations.

Mayer will launch her second season in professional baseball, after serving as an Account Executive with the Beloit Snappers of the Midwest League in 2005. She will be focusing on group ticket sales concerning promotional theme nights, birthday parties and both Ports Education Days.

Reyes joins the Ports staff for his second season in baseball after working for the Daytona Cubs of the Florida State League as an Account Executive in 2005. He will also be handling group ticket sales with a focus on industry and professional clientele.

"We feel extremely fortunate to be adding these three members to our staff for 2006," said Ports General Manager Mike McCarroll. "Each of them bring a wealth of knowledge to their new positions from their previous experiences in baseball. They all should play a vital role in helping us set a new franchise attendance record again this season."

With most of the Front Office in place, the Ports are expected to announce the final additions to their 2006 staff within the next two months.
