Springfield, MA – The Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League (AHL) today announced that goaltender Jean-Marc Pelletier has been recalled by their NHL affiliate, the Phoenix Coyotes. The Falcons also announced that the club has called up netminder Scott Dickie from the Adirondack IceHawks of the United Hockey League (UHL).

In 30 appearances with the Falcons this season, Pelletier, 25, has registered a record of 7-16-4, a goals against average (GAA) of 2.47, and is tied for 11th in the AHL with a save percentage (SV%) of .927. The Atlanta, Georgia native has notched two shutouts this season including a 31-save effort in his last start on Friday – a 4-0 win over the Manchester Monarchs.

Pelletier was acquired by the Coyotes along with a conditional draft choice from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for goaltender Patrick DesRochers on December 31, 2002. Following the trade, the 6'3", 209-pound goaltender posted a record of 12-7-4, a 2.37 GAA, and .926 SV% last regular season. Pelletier registered a 3-3 record, 2.61 GAA, and .924 SV% in six playoff games last season and helped lead the Falcons to an opening-round series win over the Hartford Wolf Pack.

Pelletier was originally drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the second round (30th overall) of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.

Dickie, 21, has collected a record of 12-9-4, a 3.09 GAA, and .907 SV% in 30 games with Adirondack this season – his first as a professional. The London, Ontario native went 2-1-0, and registered a 2.00 GAA and .908 SV% for a Coyotes' squad that won a four-team rookie team tournament in El Segundo, California in September. Dickie signed with the Falcons as a free agent on August 11, 2003.

Dickie led the Kitchener Rangers to a Memorial Cup championship last season and garnered the Hap Emms Memorial Trophy as the tournament's outstanding goaltender while accumulating a 4-0-0 record, 2.25 GAA, and .911 SV%. The 5'10", 185-pounder led the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with 30 regular season wins and set a Kitchener franchise record with a 2.59 GAA last season. Dickie accumulated a record of 87-56-16 over four seasons with Kitchener.

Dickie will join the Falcons in time for the club's contest versus the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the Arena at Harbor Yard on Wednesday evening. Catch the live call of the action by the voice of the Falcons, Marc Shelanski, on The ZONE – Sports Radio 640. The pre-game show begins at 6:35 p.m.
