
Upcoming IronPigs-Yankees Series Shifted to Coca-Cola Park

Allentown, Pa.) -The IronPigs-Yankees upcoming two-game series has been shifted to Coca-Cola Park due to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees continuing efforts to correct drainage issues at PNC Field in Moosic, Pa., the International League announced today. The upcoming games between the IronPigs and Yankees at Coca-Cola Park on Thursday, July 9 and Friday, July 10 are both scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The IronPigs would like to thank their season ticket and mini-plan holders for their continued support by offering them complimentary tickets to these upcoming games.
Also on Thursday, Phillies All-Star slugger Raul Ibanez is scheduled to continue a Major League rehab appearance for the IronPigs. Ibanez' status for the Friday's series finale is currently undetermined. Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network is the exclusive sponsor of all Major League rehabilitation appearances at Coca-Cola Park.
Field Level seats and General Admission tickets will be available for both of the upcoming IronPigs-Yankees games at Coca-Cola Park beginning on Thursday at 9 a.m. and can be purchased in-person at Coca-Cola Park, by calling (610) 841-PIGS or online at ironpigsbaseball.com. Prices for single-game tickets remain identical to 2008 and start as low as $6 for General Admission, granting fans access to the Capital BlueCross Lawn seating area and standing room only areas. Field Level reserved seats are just $9.
"We are very thankful that more than one million people have chosen Coca-Cola Park for a convenient, affordable and fun sports and entertainment experience," exclaimed IronPigs General Manager Kurt Landes. "We want to express our extreme gratitude by offering our season ticket holders complimentary tickets to this upcoming two-game series against the Yankees."
Added Landes: "We are sympathetic to the issues recently at PNC Field. As a fellow member of the International League alongside the Yankees, the IronPigs will do everything possible to assist the Yankees and the league in their efforts to ensure that these games are played."
Those holding tickets to Thursday's game originally scheduled for PNC Field can exchange those tickets for a complimentary Field Level ticket (subject to availability) to Thursday's game at Coca-Cola Park. The same policy will be in effect for those holding tickets to Friday's game originally scheduled for PNC Field that are seeking to gain admission to Friday's game at Coca-Cola Park. Exchanges can be done in-person only at the Coca-Cola Park ticket office, beginning on Thursday morning at 9 a.m.
IronPigs full-season (Club, Suite, Front Row & Field Level) ticket holders will have the benefit of receiving a complimentary ticket in their same seats for both of the upcoming games. Tickets can be picked up in-person at the Coca-Cola Park ticket office or printed via the ticket holder's online account, beginning on Thursday at 9 a.m. Full-season ticket holders with tickets cards will have these complimentary games automatically loaded onto the cards and need to take no further action to enjoy this outstanding benefit.
IronPigs 18- and 36-game ticket holders will also receive complimentary Field Level tickets to both games on Thursday and Friday (subject to availability). 18- and 36-game holders can pick up these complimentary tickets (in-person only) at the Coca-Cola Park ticket office, beginning Thursday at 9 a.m. Seating locations are based on a first-come, first-serve basis and to avoid long lines ticket holders are encouraged to arrive at the ticket office early.
9-game ticket holders have the choice of receiving a complimentary Field Level ticket to either the Thursday game or the Friday game (subject to availability). Seating locations are based on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Please note that a photo ID is required at the Coca-Cola Park ticket window for redemption.
For both the Thursday and Friday game, the Main Gates and Club Level gates will open at 6 p.m.
Fans are reminded that there are three entry points for parking and are encouraged to use the Dauphin Street entrance when traveling from downtown Allentown. In addition to the Dauphin Street entrance, entry to Coca-Cola Park can be gained off American Parkway and Union Boulevard. Preferred/Handicapped Parking access is available via American Parkway only.
The cost of parking for all IronPigs home games is $3 per vehicle.
Single-game tickets, mini-plan packages and group tickets for all IronPigs home games presented by Capital BlueCross, are on sale now and can be purchased at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office, online at www.ironpigsbaseball.com or by calling (610) 841-PIGS.
