Penguins Re-Sign Barry Goers

July 8, 2016 - WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have re-signed defenseman Barry Goers to an American Hockey League contract for the 2016-17 season. Goers underwent preseason hip surgery last year, but returned to the Penguins' line-up on Mar. 4 and went on to record two assists in 16 games. July 7, 2016 - WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Sahir Gill to an American Hockey League contract for the 2016-17 season. In his third professional season, Gill recorded AHL career highs with 21 games played, five goals, nine assists, and 14 points. Knights 2016-2017 Schedule Released

July 1, 2016 - On Wednesday the NAHL released official schedules for each of its 24 teams. On September 9th, the Knights will being their second season in the NAHL at home against the Johnstown Tomahawks. This year, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will battle for the East Division title with four other teams; The Aston Rebels, The New Jersey Titans, the Johnstown Tomahawks and the expansion Northeast Generals.
