April 27, 2016 - Fort Wayne, IN - The Peoria Chiefs couldn't get the offense going Wednesday afternoon in a 1-0 road loss to the Fort Wayne TinCaps. The loss, their fourth in a row, drops the Chiefs to 8-11 on the season and they will attempt to avoid the sweep Thursday night in Indiana. April 26, 2016 - Fort Wayne, IN- The Peoria Chiefs led 4-1 with one out and nobody on base in the bottom of the ninth inning but ultimately lost 5-4 in 10 innings Tuesday night to the Fort Wayne TinCaps. Chiefs RHP Ryan Helsley Named MWL Pitcher of the Week

April 25, 2016 - PEORIA, IL - The Midwest League announced that Peoria Chiefs pitcher Ryan Helsley was named MWL Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 18-24. This marks the first individual award for a Chiefs player in the 2016 season. Helsley beat Wisconsin at home on Friday with six shutout innings in which he struck out 11 and allowed just one hit while walking two. April 24, 2016 - Peoria, IL - The Peoria Chiefs lost to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 5-1 in 11 innings on Sunday for a four-game series sweep. With the loss the Chiefs fall to 8-9 on the season heading into the first off day of the season.
