June 21, 2024 - St. Paul, MN - PWHL Minnesota announced today the re-signing of three players from its Walter Cup championship team. Forwards Michela Cava, Denisa Køížová, and Liz Schepers have all agreed to one-year contract extensions with Cava and Schepers inked for the 2024-25 Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) season and Køížová committed through 2025-26 after her initial two-year deal.

June 8, 2024 - NEW YORK and TORONTO - The Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) and PWHL Minnesota General Manager Natalie Darwitz have parted ways, effective immediately.
"We appreciate all that Natalie has done for PWHL Minnesota in the league's inaugural season and her contributions to the team's championship success. We wish her the best moving forward," said Jayna Hefford, Senior Vice President of Hockey Operations, PWHL.
There is no immediate timeline for the naming of the next PWHL Minnesota General Manager.

May 30, 2024 - LOWELL, MA - Minnesota defeated Boston 3-0 on Wednesday night at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell in Game 5 of the PWHL Finals, presented by Scotiabank, to claim The Walter Cup.
Taylor Heise was voted the recipient of the Ilana Kloss Playoff MVP award after leading the PWHL Playoffs in goals with five, and finishing tied for first in points with eight, in ten games played. Heise was chosen first overall by Minnesota in the inaugural PWHL Draft in September 2023.

May 24, 2024 - Taylor Heise and Michela Cava had a goal and an assist apiece as Minnesota defeated Boston 4-1 in Game 3 of the PWHL Finals at Xcel Energy Center on Friday night.
Minnesota leads the best-of-five series 2-1. They are now one win away from being the first team to hoist The Walter Cup. Game 4 is Sunday at 5:00 p.m. CT/ 6:00 p.m. ET at Xcel Energy Center.
Nicole Hensley started her second straight game for Minnesota and made 18 saves in the victory. The goaltender posted a shutout in Game 2.
