
Zephyrs Release 2011 Schedule

Metairie, LA - The New Orleans Zephyrs have released their schedule and game times for the 2011 season, which begins on Thursday, April 7 at Nashville. The Z's host Round Rock in the home opener on Friday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m.
The 2010 home schedule features 72 games at Zephyr Field, beginning with a four-game series against division rival Round Rock, the new Triple-A affiliate of the defending American League champion Texas Rangers, followed by a four-game set against Nashville.
The slate consists of 10 homestands, including games on Memorial Day (May 30 vs. Albuquerque), the 4th of July (vs. Omaha) and the home finale on Thursday, September 1 vs. Oklahoma City.
There are 29 weekend dates (Friday-Sunday), with Friday games scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Saturday games for 6:00 p.m., and Sundays for 2:00 p.m. in April and May and 6:00 p.m. in June through September. The lone exception is a 1:00 p.m. start on Sunday, July 10, the final game before the All-Star Break.
All individual tickets for lower level seating at Zephyr Field in the 2011 season will be priced at $10 ($9 for children and seniors). Upper deck individual tickets are $8 ($7 for children and seniors). Individual game tickets will go on sale next spring.

The 2011 season will be the Zephyrs' 19th in the Crescent City, the 14th as a member of the Pacific Coast League, and third as the top affiliate of the Florida Marlins.
