Zap Celebrates Birthday with Shock

This Sunday, Detroit Shock mascot Zap will celebrate his birthday with some of his WNBA mascot buddies, some local mascot buddies and of course, all of the Shock fans in attendance for the 5:00 p.m. contest with the Indiana Fever. Zap and his friends will serve cake, sign autographs, host a fan/mascot Olympics at halftime and give away Ruth Riley replica jerseys (courtesy of Subway) to the first 2,500 fans 14 and under in attendance.
It's also Kids' Day at Sunday's Shock game and several lucky kids will be able to work during the game and get an insider's look at what it takes to run The Palace on a game day. Kids 14 and under will be able to purchase tickets for 50% off.
