Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Stealth announced today that Z-FM will be the radio home of the Stealth for the 2003 arenafootball2 season beginning in April. The agreement calls for Z-FM to broadcast all 16 regular season games.
Z-FM is owned and operated by Word of Life church in Wichita, Kansas and is broadcast on 90.7 FM.
"We are very excited about the new radio home of the Wichita Stealth for the upcoming season," said Mike McCoy, Stealth general manager. "We have experienced nothing but good things from the management of Z-FM and we expect it to be a winning partnership for the 2003 season."
"The Stealth are a class act who are dedicated to football and it is great fun," said Word of Life Pastor, Robert Rotola.
Play-by play duties for the 2003 season will be handled by local sports radio veteran, Rob Barzegar. "Rob has a wealth of experience in sports radio and we are pleased to have him as the voice of the Stealth," said McCoy. Stealth color commentator, Phil Stephenson will return for his third season and team up with Barzegar during all Stealth home games.
