
Youth hockey registration underway

Corpus Christi, Texas: September 23, 2004 - While the Corpus Christi Rayz are preparing for their seventh professional hockey season in South Texas, there is another group of hockey players gearing up for the start of their season. The Corpus Christi Youth Hockey Association is currently undergoing registration for all players ages 3 â 18. Interested parties can come to Memorial Coliseum in downtown Corpus Christi on Sunday, September 26 from 1:00 â 4:00pm. Brian Probert will be on hand at the Coliseum to help interested participants. Fans can also register online at anytime at www.coastalbendhockey.com.
The Corpus Christi Youth Hockey Association provides children in the Coastal Bend the chance to get an early start playing the coolest game in Texas. With five different age divisions and leagues open to players of all skill levels, all children with an interest of playing or starting hockey are encouraged to register. The Rayz will begin the 2004-05 season in Austin on October 22nd, and host the Laredo Bucks in the first ever event at the AmericanBank Center on November 5th and 7:05pm. Training camp officially opens up on Monday, October 11, 2004. The Rayz will host three preseason games, including one versus the Mexico National Hockey Team in the Memorial Coliseum. Preseason games begin on Thursday, October 14, 2004. Make your plans to be a part of all 30 Corpus Christi Rayz home dates this season and cash in on the Rayz Rewards Season Ticket Benefit Package or "Rayz for Hire" program today.
