CAMDEN, NJ- The Camden Riversharks beat the York Revolution for the seventh time Saturday night-the second behind starter Chris Young. The offense put up seven runs on 11 hits one night after being shut out.

Young threw 5.2 innings of two-hit, shutout ball before being pulled for Julio Guerrero. The three runs York put up against Guerrero in the seventh are hardly the story of the game.

Jason Phillips put the Sharks on the board in the third with a two-run single to left. Outfielders Nic Jackson and Josh Rabe scored.

Designated hitter Randy McGarvey led the fourth off with a single. He was doubled to third by shortstop Gary Cates and driven in on a sac fly by third baseman Richard Lewis.

York starter Aaron Rakers allowed consecutive singles in the fifth before being lifted for newly acquired reliever Mark Rosen. Rosen allowed a Phillips RBI single and a walk to load the bases. McGarvey walked in the fifth run, and a fielder's choice gave Bobby Gandolfo an RBI, too.

The Sharks added an insurance run in the eighth on a fielder's choice by Rabe, and Camden reliever Jeremy Lewis closed out the Revs for a save.

The series concludes tomorrow afternoon at 1:05 p.m. Come on out to Campbell's Field to see Camden southpaw Sean Thompson take on York righty Aaron Myette. Tickets are available online at www.riversharks.com or by calling 1-866-SHARKS-9.
