London Lightning News Release
For the London Lightning, the final third of the NBL Canada season begins at home, and with a tough match-up against the Saint John Mill Rats. The Mill Rats are in the thick of the post-season hunt, and on Sunday, January 29th at 2 pm, the Lightning know how important a victory would be.
Scoring will not be a problem in this game. Saint John features league leading scorer Anthony Anderson - who averages 20 ppg and player of the week Darren Duncun. Meanwhile, London's Gabe Freeman contributes 17.8 ppg and 12.8 boards each contest. The competition at the John Labatt Centre has been impressive as of late. Sunday's fans are encouraged to wear black and yellow and use the 3,000 Thundersticks that will be given away to support their home team.
