OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz (3-0) have worked their way up the rankings to grab hold of the #2 spot in this weeks af2 coaches poll. The Yard Dawgz received two first place votes and are one of only two undefeated teams, the other being the Spokane Shock, also 3-0. The Dawgz travel to Spokane on June 26th in what is quickly building as one of the most anticipated games of the season.

The Dawgz are led by their juggernaut offense that averages a league best 72.7 points/game. Oklahoma City also leads the league in red zone offense (93.3%) and field goal percentage (100%), and is third in the league in total offense (315.0 ypg), rushing offense (42.0 ypg) and points scored kicking (30). Of course, it doesn't hurt to have a top five defense that allows only 41.7 points/game and is tied for third in af2 in turnovers gained (12), helping the Dawgz to sit in first place in turnover margin at +8 (+2.67 pg).

At the helm of this high scoring squad is QB Robert Kent, who can also be found at the top of many statistical categories. Kent leads all quarterbacks in pass efficiency with a 135.7 rating, and also boasts the league's best completion percentage, completing 75.3 percent of his passes, five percent better than his nearest competitor. Kent also sits fourth in the league in passing yards per game (282.3) and fifth in total offensive yards per game (295.7).
