SOUTHAVEN, Miss - The Memphis Xplorers have made several roster moves this week. Coming off a win in their home opener over Bakersfield, the Xplorers are preparing for a first place showdown on Saturday night in Tulsa against the Central Division leading Talons. XPLORERS PLAYER MOVES
OL/DL Dustin Wilson has been assigned by af2.
QB Mike Cawley acquired in trade from Rochester.
OL/DL Dave Sherrad has been reassigned to af2.
WR/DB Keith Cobb has been reassigned to af2.
WR/DB Kenzaki Jones has been reassigned to af2.
QB Kevin Carty traded to Rochester.
"We are excited to get a guy like Mike Cawley," said Danton Barto Xplorers head coach. "Last year in seven games he averaged almost 270 yards of total offense with Quad City and he helps make our QB position even stronger with Rod Robinson. Also to get Dustin Wilson was great because he is one strong individual. Dustin is one of six guys in the world to naturally bend a 60 penny nail."

The Xplorers will practice Wednesday and Thursday night beginning at 8 p.m. in the southeast corner of the DeSoto Civic Center parking lot.
