
'XFC 27: Frozen Fury' Lands at L.C. Walker Arena in December

MUSKEGON, Michigan (November 4th) - Fresh off of their success of "Night of Champions III" in Nashville, Tennessee, the Xtreme Fighting Championships will now their sights on unchartered waters as they will make their first trip to the Northern United States to the L.C. Walker Arena for their next showcase event, XFC 27: Frozen Fury, on Friday, December 13th beginning at 7:00 pm.
This nationally televised event will be broadcasted live beginning at 9:00 pm on AXS TV with MMA legend Pat Miletich and the iconic Aussie Michael "The Voice" Schiavello calling the action ringside.
The televised bouts consist of an Opening Bout between two Welterweights when Dom Steele and Ryan Thomas take the ring as Steele looks continue his hot streak and earn a multi-fight deal with XFC, while Thomas could be positioning himself for an XFC mega fight with Luis Santos.
Next, three Feature Bouts will take the stage including two men's Lightweight bouts between Joe "Hitman" Elmore and Eric "It's a Wrap" Reynolds along with Michigan native Alex "Spider" Trevino taking on "Insane" Dave Courchaine. Also, a women's Atomweight bout between Angela "Overkill" Hill and Stephanie "The Scrapper" Skinner will take place.
Before the Main Event bout takes place, there will be a Co-Main Event Featherweight Championship taking place between Farkhad "Frank" Sharipov and Deivison "Dragon" Ribiero for rights to wear the coveted XFC Featherweight Title belt that hasn't been worn since late 2010.
Lastly, the Main Event bout features Daniel "Agent Orange" Swain and Junior Assuncao as the winner could be possibly looking at a shot of the Featherweight Championship down the road.
Before the showcase event goes live on television, there are also six Undercard Preliminary fights taking place featuring the best in arena talent. Twelve competitors will look to impress the XFC brass, including President John Prisco, and either earn another shot at a future card or be rewarded with a coveted multi-fight contract. The preliminary card is set as follows: Ray Lopez vs. Shamir Garcia (TV Swingbout), Marcus Reynolds vs. Dequan Townsend, Kenneth Green vs. Andy Carter, David Rohn vs. Drew Morais, Roy Saldana vs. Andres Torres, and Jacob Butler vs. Joel Vincent.
