Orlando Predators News Release
ORLANDO, Fla. (January 9) -- In a joint announcement made with Clear Channel Communications, the Orlando Predators announced today that WQTM (740 The Team) will serve as the official broadcast partners of the Arena Football League team.
All 16 Orlando Predators regular season games, as well as all playoff games, will be broadcast live on WQTM 740 A.M. Veteran announcer Tom Morgan returns as the Predators play-by-play announcer. Morgan has been involved in Predators broadcasts since 1995. Dan Pearson, the long-time public relations director for the Predators, begins his fourth season as color analyst.
Each broadcast will be preceded by a 30-minute pre-game show, as well as a post-game show when time permits. A one-minute Predators Report will air daily during the season during morning drive time on WQTM.
The agreement marks the 15th consecutive season that Clear Channel Communications will broadcast Orlando Predators football. Previously, Predators games were broadcast on WWNZ 740 AM and WFLA 540 AM.
"This broadcast deal is part of a larger marketing agreement we have with Clear Channel," Predators President Brett Bouchy said. "Throughout the years, Clear Channel has been a tremendous partner of the Orlando Predators and has played a major role in the success of this franchise. For a 15th consecutive year, we are thrilled to call WQTM and Clear Channel our exclusive radio broadcast partners."
