WORCESTER, MA - The Worcester Sharks (@WorcesterSharks), proud American Hockey League affiliate of the San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) has announced today the activities surrounding #SharkWeek as the Worcester Sharks prepare for their 9th season of hockey at the DCU Center in Worcester.
#SharkWeek with the Worcester Sharks will begin on Monday, August 11 and run through Friday, August 15. Each day during the week, Sharks fans will have the opportunity to win prizes and attend special events! In addition, all fans will receive 20% off their entire purchase and a mystery bobble during #SharkWeek inside the Sharks Shop at Door 22 at the DCU Center.
Event schedule below;
Monday, August 11 - Shark in the water! FINZ will be handing our popsicles at the East Park Spray Pad on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester from 12pm-1pm.
Tuesday, August 12 - Meet FINZ at Cold Stone Creamery at the Blackstone Valley Shops in Millbury from 12-1pm. The first 25 fans wearing Sharks gear will receive a free sample of their Shark Week Blue Sweet Ice Cream and everyone will have the opportunity to win Opening Night tickets.
Wednesday, August 13 -"Beat the Heat" with a FREE public skate and youth hockey shoot and skate around at the Buffone Skating Arena at 284 Lake Ave in Worcester from 1:30-3pm! Bring your skates and helmets to cool off with FINZ at the rink!
Thursday, August 14 - Join the Worcester Sharks front office at the Out to Lunch Concert Series at the Worcester Common from 11am-2pm! FINZ will hook up fans wearing Sharks gear with prizes!
Friday, August 15 - Check out the Worcester Sharks locker room and play bubble hockey against the Sharks staff from 12-1pm. Please enter through Door 5 at the DCU Center across from Saint Vincent Hospital.
