Worcester Sharks Go For The Nines On 1/9/09

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the Worcester Sharks will celebrate January 9, 2009 with $9 tickets and a slew of "9" themed promotions.

All Sharks fans aged 9-years-old or 99-years-old will get free admission to Friday night's game vs. the Albany River Rats at 7:05p.m at the DCU Center.

All tickets will cost just $9 and fans may purchase chuck-a-pucks for .99 cents. The winner of chuck-a-puck will receive a game worn #9 Tom Cavanagh jersey.

Throughout the game, there will be trivia based on the #9, music from Nine Inch Nails and Nena (99 Luftballoons), and Sharks players will recall what it was like to be nine-years-old.
