Canucks recall Hansen & Re-Assign Bolduc to Moose

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced today they have recalled forward Jannik Hansen and re-assigned forward Alexandre Bolduc to the Moose.

Bolduc, 23, played in three games with Vancouver after being recalled for a second time this season Dec. 29/08. He collected his first career NHL point Jan. 4/09 @ Minnesota. In total, the Montreal, PQ native has played in five games with the Canucks this season. He has also appeared in 24 games so far this season with the Moose scored 13 points (4-9-13), including a shorthanded goal (Nov. 21/08 vs. San Antonio) and a game-winning goal (Nov. 14/08 vs. Toronto). Bolduc was initially drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round, 127th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

Hansen, 22, played in two games after being re-assigned to Manitoba on Jan. 5/09. He scored his first goal of the season for the Moose Jan. 7/09 vs. Hartford. The native Harlev, Denmark has also in played in 37 games so far this season with the Canucks. In that time, he has scored 17 points (3-14-17) and 27 penalty minutes. Hansen was originally drafted by Vancouver in the ninth round, 287th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
