Game 7 Wrap-up – Wolves Tame S. Georgia, 46-21; Win 6th Straight Game To Improve To 6-1

The Manchester Wolves lived up to their billing as the No. 1 team in the league, defeating the So. Defensive Specialists

The Wolves offense has been super all season, but Manchester's hot start is also due in large part to its defense. The Wolves currently rank fourth in the league in scoring defense, allowing only 37.0 points per game. Manchester's most recent effort was its most impressive to date, as the Wolves surrendered just three scores against S. Georgia on Friday night (May 20) in a 46-21 win. Manchester applied constant pressure to Wildcats' QB Bobby Pesavento all night, forcing him into four interceptions and a number of bad throws. Leading the charge is William "Roc" Haith, Allistair Sebastien and Kelvin Fuller. Haith (league-leading 57.0 tackles) and Sebastien (6 INTs – 2nd in the league) lead the defensive secondary, while Fuller fuels the front line attack with 16.5 total tackles and a team-high three sacks.
