Mohegan Wolves News Release

NEW LONDON, Conn. (Feb. 24, 2003) - The Mohegan Wolves (arenafootball2) will be hosting a special Arena Football viewing party this Sunday, March 2, at Coach's Sports Bar & Grille in downtown Hartford. The event will be held from 3 - 6 p.m. during NBC's telecast of the AFL Game of the Week. All Arena Football fans are invited to attend.

A special invitation to the party is also being extended to all former New England Sea Wolves season ticket holders on behalf of Mohegan Wolves Head Coach Mark Stoute. Stoute, a former Sea Wolves Assistant, has high hopes that a number of Sea Wolves fans will come out to the event and embrace his new team.

"I know a lot of people were hurt when the Sea Wolves left for Toronto in 2000," Stoute said. "I think they'll be excited to see that Arena Football is still alive in this state and that it's just a modest drive away.

All Sea Wolves season ticket holders interested in attending the party are encouraged to call the Mohegan Wolves office at (860) 443-1900. The first 100 people to respond will be invited to a pre-game VIP party that begins at 2:00 p.m. The pre-game party will include a free buffet and opportunities to win tickets and other cool prizes.

The Wolves kick off their 2003 season on Sat., April 5, vs. the Rochester Brigade at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Mohegan Sun Arena is the premier entertainment venue in Connecticut. Major sporting events, including championship boxing, professional basketball, tennis and bowling, along with world-renowned entertainers such as Tim McGraw, Gloria Estefan, Janet Jackson and Aerosmith have performed in this 10,000-seat venue.

Season tickets are available and affordable, starting as low as $96 per seat. Blockbuster giveaway nights are also being planned. For more information, please contact the Mohegan Wolves office at 860.443.1900 or visit them on the web at www.moheganwolves.com.
