Manchester Wolves News Release

MANCHESTER, N.H. (July 7, 2005) - This Saturday morning, July 9, members of the Manchester Wolves and team mascot "Blitz" will be making an appearance at Home Depot (So. Willow Street) in Manchester as part of a special kids-based "building" event that is FREE to the public.

The event will run from 10 - 12:30 PM and the Wolves will be on hand to help the kids build such fun things as a sailboat, train bank, and ring toss set.

"Giving back to the community and community involvement is one of Home Depot's core values," said Dave Valence, store manager of the So. Willow Street Home Depot. "Home Depot is always looking for other world-class organizations like the Manchester Wolves to partner with and pool resources to provide free events such as this one in addition to taking on community projects that benefit the residents of Manchester and surrounding communities."

Since their arrival in the granite state in late 2003, the Wolves have established themselves as an impact player not only on the field, but off the field as well. The team has made hundreds of appearances at charity functions and local events throughout the southern New Hampshire region and beyond.

"This is just another great way for our team and our players to be involved in the Manchester community," said Wolves Director of Community Relations Karl-Sven Bertelmann. "We'd like to thank the Manchester Home Depot and its management for allowing us to be a part of this special event."
