Mohegan Wolves News Release
The Wolves enter their second season in arenafootball2 with renewed optimism under the direction of new Head Coach Mark Stoute. Stoute, a Connecticut resident since 1985, brings with him over six years of experience coaching in the Arena Football ranks. He and his staff have assembled a potent mixture of veteran talent and young playmakers that will be the foundation for a winning Wolves football team in 2003.
Former college stars like UConn quarterback Ryan Tracey and Michigan defensive back Andre Weathers (also formerly of the New York Giants) are just a few examples of the explosive cast of players Mohegan has vying for a spot on its opening day, 21-man roster.
The Wolves kick off their 2003 season on Sat., April 5, vs. the Rochester Brigade at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Mohegan Sun Arena is the premier entertainment venue in Connecticut. Major sporting events, including championship boxing, professional basketball, tennis and bowling, along with world-renowned entertainers such as Tim McGraw, Gloria Estefan, Janet Jackson and Aerosmith have performed in this 10,000-seat venue.
Season tickets are available and affordable, starting as low as $96 per seat. Blockbuster giveaway nights are also being planned. For more information, please contact the Mohegan Wolves office at 860.443.1900 or visit them on the web at www.moheganwolves.com.
