Wolves QB 'Dak' Britt: Scoring Touchdowns at An Elite Pace
May 29, 2015 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Billings Wolves News Release
Last Saturday, quarterback Darakatatalib (Dak) Britt helped the Wolves secure their first set of back-to-back wins in franchise history. He only threw the ball 22 times, but he completed 72.7% of his passes and produced three touchdowns- two through the air and one on the ground.
During Wolves 48-45 victory over the Fever, Britt continued to stand out as a vital contributor:
Throwing two touchdown passes- one to Regginald Lews Jr. and another to D.A. Allen.
Leading the Wolves in production both threw the air (133 yards) and on the ground (36 yards).
Completing 16 of 22 passes- good for a completion-percentage of 72.7.
While Britt's two interceptions were an anomaly after throwing only three all season prior to Saturday's game- his passing touchdown percentage remains high (14.00)- ranking him 3rd in the IFL amongst quarterbacks with at least 100 passing attempts.
?
Britt will face another tough test in Friday night's rematch with the Fever, who boast the IFL's No. 1 ranked pass defense. The Wolves pass defense ranks No. 2- allowing just 0.1 passing yard more per-game. With the rematch coming back to Billings, expect the Wolves secondary to reclaim possession of the league's top spot if they can repeat last week's success.
