
WNBA names Robert C. Weber General Manager, WNBA Sales and Business Development

NEW YORK, August 8 - The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) announced today that Robert C. Weber has been named General Manager, WNBA Sales and Business Development. Effective immediately, Weber will direct all of the league's sales efforts. He will report directly to WNBA President Donna Orender.
Weber brings a wealth of sports sales experience to his position with the WNBA. He most recently served as Vice President and Publisher of Travel+Leisure Golf magazine, where he oversaw all marketing, advertising and promotional initiatives. Weber is widely recognized for his innovative approach to publishing, particularly for his role in the design and implementation of customer-centric marketing solutions to assist advertisers in the sale of their products and services.

Throughout Weber's 24-year career in the magazine publishing industry, he has cultivated partnerships with renowned brands including Nike, TagHeuer, Nordstrom, Ashworth, Delta, Rolex, BMW, Kimberly Clark and Philip Morris. Before joining Travel+Leisure Golf magazine, Weber held positions at Haymarket Publishing USA and the Meredith Corporation.
