WNBA Honors Father-Daughter Relationships by Hosting Special Game Nights in Team Markets

NEW YORK, June 16, 2011 -- The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) will once again celebrate the special connection between dads and daughters by inviting them to experience female athleticism at its best. From special ticket promotions to themed in-arena events, WNBA Dads & Daughters will encourage fathers and daughters to spend quality time together while forging a lasting bond through the game of basketball.

"As the WNBA continues its celebratory 15th season, we are honored to recognize the dads and daughters who have contributed to the league's ongoing success," said WNBA President Laurel Richie. "We can't think of a better way to honor the close relationships shared between daughters and their fathers during these games then by providing an incredible and memorable experience for them to enjoy."
