
Wizards Sign Gee To Second 10-Day

AUSTIN, TX (May 18, 2010) - The Washington Wizards announced today that they have signed guard Alonzo Gee to a second 10-day contract. Terms of the deal were not announced. Gee originally signed with Washington on March 7. In five games for the Wizards, Gee has averaged 7.6 points and 4.2 assists in 13.2 minutes per game. Gee saw his first NBA double-double on March 16th against the Denver Nuggets with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Gee was the first pick of the 2009 NBA D-League draft for the Austin Toros and averaged 21.3 points and 6.7 rebounds in 36 games.
