Wisconsin Riveters Sign 18 Sponsors in 2 weeks

The Wisconsin Riveters are proud to announce that we have signed 18 sponsors in the past two weeks which include; Airport Inn in Somers, Schneider's Salvage & Auto Sales in Kenosha, Corner Connection in Racine, Cottman Transmission in Kenosha, Captain Mike's in Kenosha, Hoser's Curve Inn in Waterford, Evelyn's Club Main in Racine, Kenosha Magic in Kenosha, Log Cabin in Burlington, John's Main Event in Burlington, 94 North in Kenosha, Pasquali's Bar in Kenosha, Bill's Corner Pub in Kenosha, Asch's Place in Racine, Finney's Lounge in Kenosha, Wagner's Leo Tavern in Salem, Bombay Louie's in Kenosha and The Dugout in Racine. As the week goes by for the Riveters so do the sponsors lining up to become a part of history and support Women's football. Holly Barrett the owner states, "It is great to see the support the state of Wisconsin is giving us especially the Kenosha and the Racine area. The businesses in this area have become a part of history by becoming proud sponsors of the Wisconsin Riveters. We have already broken our record of sponsors from last year and we just started. We want to thank all of our sponsors for supporting the Wisconsin Riveters, the Women's Tackle football team for the state of Wisconsin."
The NWFA is the largest tackle football league in the world with 37 teams in 23 states. The league wrapped up its 2003 season with the National Women's Football Championship Game that was held at Vanderbilt University in Nashville in front of 5,726 fans.
The NWFA is also opening teams in other markets. The league is expanding to several additional cities and will add teams in Louisville, KY, Cincinnati, OH and the Chicago, IL area for 2004.
