
Wisconsin Rivals Face off in Weekend Series

The Steel are on the hunt for a win against the Janesville Jets. The two Wisconsin teams get set to face off for another weekend series.
With a 9-6 record, the Jets hold the 2nd place spot in the Midwest Division. Forwards Erik Bargholtz and Jack Vincent lead the team with 8 points, 3 goals, and 5 assists each. Since the last time the Steel saw the Jets, they got swept by the Fairbanks Ice Dogs and split a series with the MN Wilderness. The Jets have 4 D1 commitments including, Bargholtz who is committed to Michigan State University.
The Steel are looking to get revenge on the Jets this weekend after falling short the last time they faced Janesville. After his hat trick last weekend, Tomas Vochozka will be one to watch. He carries the team with 13 points, 6 goals, and 7 assists. Camden Thiesing follows with 10 points, 5 goals and 5 assists. Although still ranked 6th in the Central Division, the Steel are eager to get a win.
The puck will drop tonight at 7:10 p.m. at the Chippewa Area Ice Arena. Tonight, is stress reliever puck giveaway presented by Kwik Trip. The first 450 fans will get a foam stress reliever puck. Fans can get their tickets online at chippewasteelhockey.com or by calling 715-861-2131.
