
Wisconsin Herd Announces 2021-22 Home and Away Television Broadcast Schedule

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the 2021 NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks, announced its official television broadcast partner will be WGBA-TV (NBC 26) and WACY-TV (tv32). Both stations are owned and operated by The E.W. Scripps Company. Herd fans can watch all away games starting in December and all regular-season home games for the entire season on WACY-TV (tv32). This marks the fourth season Herd games will air on WACY-TV (tv32).
Ted Stefaniak returns for his fourth season as the primary play-by-play broadcaster bringing 32 years of broadcast experience to the Herd, including 15 seasons with the WIAA State Basketball Network. Stefaniak has provided the call for hundreds of local sporting events including high school basketball, football and college basketball games. Stefaniak previously served as the sports director at WGBA-TV and WAOW-TV. He is a graduate of Creighton University and started his broadcast career at KKAR radio and KPTM-TV in Omaha, NE.
Alongside Stefaniak as color commentator will be Appleton, WI native Brian Butch. Butch currently co-hosts the "B.J. and the Bear" morning show on 99.1 and 95.3 FM The Score. He occasionally fills in with the Rich Eisen Show, The Mike Heller Show and as a game analyst for the Big 10 Network's NCAA men's basketball games. Butch brings knowledge as a former Wisconsin Badger and NBA Development League player. He was named an All-Star and NBA Development League's Impact Player of the year in 2010. He has played professionally in China, Germany, Greece, the Philippines, UAE and Japan.
B.J. DeGroot, Assistant Brand Manager of WSCO/WHBY, will serve as an alternate announcer. He is the host of the "B.J. & The Bear" morning show on 99.1 and 95.3 FM The Score. Brandon Kinard, an award-winning sports reporter for NBC 26, will also serve as an alternate play-by-play broadcaster. In addition, Joe Wolf, a former professional basketball coach and player, brings years of NBA Radio and Television commentator experience while filling in as a color analyst.
In addition to the local telecasts, the Herd is scheduled to be streamed on NBAGLeague.com and appear on national television eight times, including one NBA TV broadcast (Dec. 12) and seven ESPN+ games (Nov. 11, Dec. 1, Dec. 12, Jan. 5, Jan. 12th, Jan. 20, Jan. 26).
