
Winterhawks' Hill Added to Team WHL Roster

Calgary, AB - The Western Hockey League announced today that goaltender Adin Hill of the Portland Winterhawks has been added to Team WHL's roster for the 2015 CHL Canada Russia Series, beginning November 9th in Kelowna, BC.
Hill has enjoyed a stellar start to the WHL's 50th Season, with a 2.13 goals against average and a .937 save percentage. The Calgary, AB product has five wins so far this season, three of them shutouts, and was recently named the WHL nominee for the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week award.
The 6-4 backstop has a 2.63 goals against average and a .924 save percentage for a 40-15-1-0 record in 59 career WHL regular season games. Hill has also suited up in 17 WHL Playoff games with a record of 10-6-1.
In addition, four current WHL players were named to Team Russia ahead of the 2015 CHL Canada Russia Series by the Russian Ice Hockey Federation. Defencemen Ivan Provorov (Brandon Wheat Kings) and Sergey Zborovsky (Regina Pats) will join forwards Radel Fazleev (Calgary Hitmen) and Ivan Nikolishin (Red Deer Rebels) on Team Russia for the games against Team WHL on November 9th and 10th.
