Los Angeles Avengers News Release
LOS ANGELES - Even though it is the off-season, Avenger players, coaches and "A-Team" dancers regularly visit schools, hospitals and community events.
This week, assistant head coach Brent Winter spent Thursday, July 27 at the Long Beach City College Viking Sports Camp in Long Beach. Winter and other coaches from the area took the opportunity to pass along their football knowledge to over 30 participants from the ages of 9-14.
"It's great to see these kids out here wanting to improve their football skills," Winter said. "But it is also important to stress that going to school and getting good grades is first and foremost."
