Los Angeles Avengers News Release
LOS ANGELES - Even though it is the off-season, Avenger players, coaches and "A-Team" dancers regularly visit schools, hospitals and community events.
This week, "A-Team" dancers Shelby and Tiffany spent the morning at the Rob Fukuzaki's 9th Annual Heads Up Youth Foundation Charity Golf Tournament at Porter Valley Country Club in Northridge on Monday, July 31.
"I'm always ready to help out with events like this in the community," Shelby said. "Everyone had a really good time while golfing for a great cause."
The two "A-Team" dancers visited with golfers at the putting contest, signed autographs and posed for pictures.
Over the years, the Heads Up Youth Foundation has helped the Los Angeles Dodgers Dream Foundation, the Hathaway Children & Family Services, the Palama Settlement of Honolulu, the Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation, the Department of Children and Family Services and the Rising Stars Foundation.
