Winter Storm Alters St. Louis Ambush Weekend Schedule
January 3, 2014 - Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL)
St. Louis Ambush News Release
St. Charles, MO - Thanks to a massive winter storm that blanketed the northeast in snow, the Major Indoor Soccer League has announced a schedule change for this weekend's games. Both St. Louis Ambush games scheduled for this weekend will be played at the times originally announced, but the opponents have swapped dates.
The severe weather has hindered travel for the Rochester Lancers, who were scheduled to face the Ambush tonight at 7:35 p.m. The Milwaukee Wave, who were originally scheduled to be tomorrow's opponent, quickly made arrangements to travel to St. Charles for tonight's game.
The Ambush, presented by Simmons First National Bank, will host the Milwaukee Wave, a game previously schedule for Saturday afternoon, on Friday night (January 3) at 7:35 p.m. CT at Family Arena. The Ambush will then host the Rochester Lancers, a game previously schedule for Friday night, at 1:35 p.m. CT on Saturday afternoon.
The Unsung Heroes Indoor Soccer Classic to benefit First Responders is still slated for Saturday at 11:45 a.m., right before the Ambush-Lancers contest.
Tickets will be honored as dated. Tickets dated for the January 3 game will still be honored on January 3. Tickets dated for the January 4 game will still be honored on January 4. Exchanges can be made at the Family Arena box office for fans who want to switch games.
