
Wings Sign Remaining Roster Spots

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Wings of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) announced at a press conference this morning the final six roster spots that the team has signed. Pending league approval, Kevin Ten Eyck, Alex Moseley, Fausto Casa de Deus, Worley Edvin, Alargie Jobe, and Nic Martinez will be joining the Wichita Wings for the upcoming 2011-2012 season.
A total of 15 players made the final cut to attend the Wings two week tryout session leading up to the Black and Orange Scrimmage last Wednesday, each fighting for their chance to make the team. "The competition we had for our remaining six spots was intense." said Wings Assistant Coach Sammy Lane. "We were surprised by how difficult the final decisions ended up being."
With the signing of the last six players, the Wings have finalized their full 18 man roster for the upcoming season. "We've signed some vary quality players with these final six guys, most of which are rookies to the league who will be out there this year fighting to make a name for themselves." said Wings General Manager John Blazek. "Head Coach LeBaron Hollimon has done nothing short of an incredible job in putting this team together and we are beyond excited to get the season under way."
The Wichita Wings will open their inaugural season at Hartman Arena this Thursday, November 3rd at 7:05pm against the Missouri Comets- Tickets are still available but going fast.
