Rochester Lancers Announce New Players

ROCHESTER, NY- Head Coach Billy Andracki today announced the addition of five new players to the Lancers roster pending league approval. The 5 news players are Brazilian Goalkeeper Leo Tillemont, also known as "Leo", former Section V star Kyle Manscuk, Serbian native Ljubomir "Lubo" Kocic, former Tacoma Stars standout player Brayton Knapp and former Kitsap Pumas star Elliot Fauske.

The Rochester Lancers season starts this Friday, November 4th, at The Syracuse Silver Knights, at 7:30pm, and their home opener will be played on Saturday, November 12th, at 1 p.m. against the Missouri Comets at the Blue Cross Arena. The five new players will join Doug Miller, Mauricio Salles, Rey "Boom Boom" Martinez, JP Reyes, Andrew Hoxie and Nelson "Nelly" Becerra. The Lancers will announce more players this Thursday, November 3rd.

Leo - #1 Leonardo "Leo" Tillemont joins the Rochester Lancers after helping FC Leones win the Puerto Rico Soccer League championship in 2011 with fellow Lancer Mauricio Salles. Leo was named the Playoff MVP after the Lions run to a title to finish up his rookie pro outdoor season. Leo is a native of Salvador, Brazil.

Kyle Manscuk - #21 Rochester native and Aquinas graduate Kyle Manscuk joins the Lancers for his rookie pro season. Manscuk spent the 2011 PDL season with the Ottawa Fury where he was an All-Eastern Conference defender. Manscuk played his college soccer for the Binghamton University Bearcats where he grew from an America East All-Rookie Team selection as a freshman to the team MVP, first team NSCAA All-Northeast Region, first team All-Conference, and the team's leading goal scorer as a senior.

Lubo - #13 Serbian native Ljubomir "Lubo" Kocic joins the Lancers for his rookie pro indoor season after making a name for himself on the international reality TV series "Soccer Aces". Lubo was one of 17 finalists that were judged by soccer legend Zinedine Zidane, amongst others. Earlier this year, Lubo made his USL outdoor debut with Puerto Rico United. Lubo moved to the New Orleans area in 1994 and he later starred at Grace King High before moving on to the University of Incarnate Word, where he played four years of varsity soccer.

Brayton Knapp - #15 Brayton Knapp joins the Rochester Lancers after playing the 2010-11 indoor season with the Tacoma Stars of the PASL Pro League. Knapp scored 8 goals in 16 games for the Stars in 2010-11 where his head coach and teammate was former Rochester Rhinos forward Greg Howes. Knapp is a native of Sultan, Washington who played his college soccer at the University of Portland appearing in over 70 games for the Pilots.

Elliot Fauske - #8 Elliot Fauske joins the Lancers after spending the 2010-11 indoor season with the Kitsap Pumas of the PASL Pro League. Fauske scored 11 goals in 11 games for the Pumas in 2010-11. Fauske has also played for the Kitsap Pumas outdoor team that competes in the USL's Premier Development League. Fauske helped the Pumas capture the 2011 PDL Championship as a versatile player that played in the midfield and on defense in 2011. Fauske grew up in Spokane, Washington and played his college soccer at Seattle University.
