
Wings Sign Defenseman Shawn Nadelen For 2007 Season

The Philadelphia Wings have signed defenseman Shawn Nadelen to a one-year contract it was announced today by Wings General Manager and Head Coach Lindsay Sanderson.
"Shawn is a solid and experienced defensive presence," said Sanderson. "His veteran leadership helps anchor our defense and his extraordinary work ethic sets a great example for the entire team."
Nadelen has 54 career points (13G, 41A) and 263 career loose balls in his five-year National Lacrosse League career. The 6', 200-pound defenseman has seen playing time with the New Jersey Storm and the Minnesota Swarm in addition to the Wings. Nadelen played four years at Johns Hopkins University and currently serves as the Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach at Towson University.
The Wings open their 2007 home season on Saturday, January 13 vs. the Portland
