
Wings Players Present Special Olympics Awards

PLACE: Pike Field, Lancaster Ave., Villanova University, PA 19085
DETAILS: Tony Henderson and Nick Schroeder of the Philadelphia Wings award athletes medals at the 14th Annual Special Olympics Fall Festival at Villanova University. Henderson and Schroeder will appear at the Olympics from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m and will be available autographs.
Approximately 1,200 athletes and 200 coaches representing 43 counties will participate in the 2002 Special Olympics Pennsylvania. This festival also draws 2,000 volunteers recruited from Villanova University student body, corporate organizations, and the community.
The six-time World Champion Philadelphia Wings begin their eight game home season at the First Union Center on January 11th. Season tickets for the 2003 Philadelphia Wings are now on sale by calling (215) 389-WINGS. Wings season tickets start as low as $120.
