Wings' Greenhalgh Named National Lacrosse League's Player Of The Week

Philadelphia Wings forward Sean Greenhalgh was named Player of the Week in week eleven of NLL action. Greenhalgh recorded twelve points in two games against the Rochester Knighthawks on March 10 and 11.

"This past weekend was big for our team with a difficult series against Rochester," said Greenhalgh. "I was happy that I was able to contribute and help our team secure a big win on Saturday night here in Philly."

Greenhalgh scored six points on four goals and two assists, including three power-play goals, and collected four loose balls in a 17-8 road loss to the Rochester Knighthawks on Friday. The 5'10", 185-pound forward scored six points on three goals and three assists in the Wings 16-12 home win over Rochester on Saturday.

This is Greenhalgh's second Player of the Week Award this season. His first came in week one of NLL play for his seven points (4G, 3A) against the Colorado Mammoth on December 30. Greenhalgh has also captured three Rookie of the Week Awards this season. The Cornell University graduate is second overall in scoring for the Wings this season with 50 points (21G, 29A). Greenhalgh was drafted by the Wings in the first round (3rd overall) in the 2005 NLL Entry Draft.

The Wings return to action against the Arizona Sting on Saturday, March 25 at the Wachovia Center at 1:30 p.m.
