The Wings are coming off a week of rest after their home opener against the New York Saints scheduled for Sat., January 11 was postponed to Sat., March 8 due to the Eagles home playoff game. The Wings lost their season opener in Vancouver against the Ravens by a score of 14-10 on Fri., January 3. Leading scorers in that contest were captain Tom Marechek with six points (2G, 4A) and defenseman Paul Cantabene also with six points (1G, 5A).

WINGS BATTLE MAMMOTH IN HOME-AND-HOME

* The Wings will tackle the Colorado Mammoth this Saturday at the Pepsi Center in Denver in week four of National Lacrosse League action. The Mammoth will then travel to Philadelphia to face the Wings in their home opener at the First Union Center on January 25.

* Defenseman Paul Cantabene will face his former Washington Power teammates (the Power relocated to Colorado this summer) for the first time since his trade to Philadelphia on September 20.

* The Mammoth is coming off a 13-11 loss to the Ottawa Rebel this past Saturday. The loss brings the Mammoth's record to 1-1 and places them in second place in the NLL's Eastern Division behind the New Jersey Storm.

* Leading scorers for Colorado are Gary Gait with eleven points (3G, 8A), Ted Dowling with ten points (7G, 3A), and Del Halladay with seven points (3G, 4A).

WINGS TURN HEADS WITH BILLBOARDS

The Wings have gotten the attention of the Delaware Valley with their billboards, which debuted on January 1. Five different boards, each which features a different edgy tagline including "See If Your Date's A Screamer", "The Only Nosebleed Seats Are On The Turf", and "Food, Girls, Fights, Beer, and Lacrosse. Enough Said!", are located on interstate I-95 and the Schuylkill Expressway. The billboards are part of a campaign that includes print, radio, and television.

BROAD ST. BASH DEBUTS ON JAN. 25

The Wings debut the all-new Broad Street Bash at the First Union Center prior to their home opener on January 25. The inaugural Bash will feature live music from the group Delirium Theory, interactive games, concessions, and more! Doors open at 6:30. The Broad Street Bash will take place on the First Union Center concourse prior to every Wings home game.

The Wings introduce their Dave and Buster's Party Pack for the 2003 season. The package includes four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, and four Dave and Buster's Power Cards for just $66. Dave and Buster's Party Packs can be purchased at the First Union Center Box Office.

WINGS WORLD

* Tom Marechek leads the Wings in scoring with six points (2G, 4A).

* Second-year forward, Tony Henderson, leads the team in goal scoring (3).

* The Wings are 0-1 going into Saturday's game against the Mammoth and hold third place in the NLL's Eastern Division behind the New Jersey Storm and Colorado.

* Sixth-year forward Jake Bergey will miss the 2003 season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee in an exhibition game against Colorado at the Pepsi Center on December 6. Bergey underwent surgery last month and will continue rehab throughout the season.

* The Wings are the subject of a feature article in the January issue of Main Line Today. Several Wings players and staff with Main Line connections were interviewed. The article even features a picture of forward Jake Bergey wearing ... WINGS!
