Wings Down Mammoth 13-12 to Move Closer to Playoff Berth

The Philadelphia Wings improved upon their East Division lead by defeating the Colorado Mammoth 13-12 at Pepsi Center Friday night, to take their season record to 7-4.
In a tightly-contested battle, the Wings trailed 7-6 at half but were able to stay within striking distance throughout before Brendan Mundorf scored with less than a minute left to seal the 13-12 victory for the Wings.
Mundorf was a catalyst for the Wings offense all night, tallying five goals and four assists on the night. Also pacing the way for the Wings were forward Dan Dawson with two goals and six assists and rookie Kevin Crowley who added two goals and three assists.
The Wings will be back in action versus the West-leading Mammoth at Wells Fargo Center Sunday at 4 p.m.
