Wingnuts Finalize Opening Day Roster

WICHITA, Kans. - The Wichita Wingnuts trimmed their roster ahead of the team's final exhibition game on Wednesday, releasing left-handed pitcher Carlos Diaz and right-handed pitchers Taylor Hoesen, Fernando Martinez, and Jesse Pratt. Additionally, right-handed pitcher Mark Haynes has been placed on the disabled list, retroactive to May 15.
The Wingnuts roster now stands at 22, one short of the American Association maximum during the regular season.
