
Williams Called up by Trinidad and Tobago for Friendly in Saudi Arabia

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Chattanooga Football Club defender Jesse Williams has been called up to the Trinidad and Tobago national team for the country's international friendly against Saudi Arabia on December 17th at the Al Shabab Club Stadium in Riyadh.
The match against Saudi Arabia is part of Trinidad and Tobago's preparations ahead of their Concacaf Gold Cup playoff against Cuba in March 2025 and represents the first game in charge for newly-appointed head coach Dwight Yorke.
Williams has made ten appearances for Trinidad and Tobago. He played for his country in the Concacaf Nations League quarter-finals against the United States men's national team in November 2023.
Williams made his international debut on June 8th 2021 in a 2-0 win over St Kitts and Nevis. The next month he started for Trinidad and Tobago in a goalless draw against Mexico in the group stage of the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup.
Chattanooga Football Club recently concluded its 16th season and its fourth full year as a professional club.
