Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers News Release
Wilkes-Barre, PA- The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers announced today that all walk-up end zone tickets for this weekend's game against the Mohegan Wolves will be offered for a discounted rate to families for Father's Day.
Tickets for end zone seating, usually priced at $12.00 and $14.00, will be available for $10.00 and $12.00, respectfully. Discounted tickets may only be purchased on June 15th for that night's game and will be available at the Arena Box Office. The special offer will only be extended to fathers with children or entire families. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster or any other outlet will be sold at regular price.
"This gives us an opportunity to do something special for Father's Day and our fans," said Pioneers General Manager Rick Sneed. "We've always maintained that Pioneers' games are fun for the whole family. This is the least we can do to give something back to the community."
Fans are reminded the Pioneers pre-game Fanfest will be held from 5:30pm - 7:30pm in the parking area adjacent to the Arena's East gate. This week's Fanfest will include a free concert by the Jeffrey James Band, in addition to the Pepsi Interactive Fan Zone, food and drinks, and other entertainment.
