
Wilderness' Portz Moves on to USHL and Commits to UND

CLOQUET, MN - Minnesota Wilderness Alum Nick Portz has announced his commitment to play Division I hockey at the University of North Dakota. Portz will join the Fighting Hawks for the 2020-2021 season, joining former teammate and current Wilderness goaltender, Kaleb Johnson.
Portz had recently left the Wilderness 2019-2020 roster to play with the Tri-City Storm in the USHL. Portz played the entire 2018-2019 season with the Minnesota Wilderness, putting up 32 points in his rookie season.
